Ferlin Husky Hospitalized
Doctors discovered blocked arteries in both of the legs of country singer Ferlin Husky, 81 years old. This led to him being hospitalized in one of Springfield’s hospitals. Surgery was scheduled according to Tracy Pitcox, president of Husky’s label.
Ferlin is no stranger to hospitals and surgery. In 1977 he had open heart operation done and also escaped from a heart attack in 1983. You have to give this guy credit. He is not young anymore and has a lot of health problems but this never stopped him. He still performs at least once per month. He did a lot for country music and it looks like he is still in the game at 81. Ferlin Husky made 18 movies and sold over 20 million albums in his successful career. He also recorded under the names of Terry Preston and Simon Crum so you should know that all three are one and the same.
