Country Idol; Carrie Underwood

The American Idol of two years past Carrie Underwood went home with three awards from the Academy of Country Music awards. She walked the orange carpet on the arms of Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo but giggled out the “fact” that they are just friends. Also walking the carpet were Carrie’s idol-mates Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington.
I thought it was American Idol. I highly doubt a large number of voters are country lovers. No offense to the country music industry because there are great songs out there. I just find it bland as in there’s no excitement there. Except maybe the fact that Carrie’s dating a QB and Kellie’s chest has seemed to bloom. Er, right.
